What is Roollo?
Roollo is a classroom equity management app for teachers. It solves a problem that is simple but persistent: some students get called on constantly while others go entire class periods unnoticed.
The app uses equity-weighted selection — students who haven't participated recently are surfaced more often, while those who have are given space. Over time, every student gets an equal share of attention and opportunity.
Why we built it
Most classroom tools are built around data collection. Roollo is built around a different idea: that fairness in the classroom is a daily practice, not a metric.
Teachers already know this. They want to be equitable. The problem is that without a system, the same confident hands go up and the same quieter students fade into the background.
Roollo makes equity effortless — it doesn't require teachers to change how they teach, just to have a tool that holds the standard for them.
